Guys, when ordering a sticker, please put your Aquahunter username in the paypal field(or email me - aquahunters@rocketmail.com) so we can enroll you correctly into AH University.  Sorry for not clarifying that.  We don't want to miss anyone.

Also, due to the influx of students enrolled/enrolling, a spot in the chat is first come first serve.  We are unsure of how many people we can support in chat, but we will do our best to make sure everyone who wants to get in can get in.

We need to put some sort of saying on the banner at the bottom of the AHU logo. Most universities have something in Latin, but what better than something in Hawaiian?

See you Sunday.
Studies say 60% of the time it works every time.

Ok, passwords have been sent out to all enrolled.  Please check your email/PMs for it.  If you are enrolled but did not get a password, please PM me and I will rectify your situation.  Note, you can still enroll for AHU up till/during class, but note that I or the other administrators may not be able to get you registered in a timely manner.  So if you are planning on joining us, please sign up sooner than later.

good thing we don't have a master's class(mAHU)!  :P

What are the chances of getting the above graphic made into a decal?  ;D

Uncle, it would be hard.  Unless the demand is large, it would be pretty expensive... :-\ :-\  But I bet those local printers could do it if you give them the image file...?

When is Aquahunter classes?
Classes will normally be on Sunday nights. We have not determined a formalized schedule as of yet.  However, the forum will let you know in advance on the dates, times, and topic.

I didn't realize until later, but Sunday evening your time is sometime Monday morning, hours before I wake up. Sigh. But fantastic idea. Maybe someone can start a thread in the 'secret' section that documents the meetings? Or maybe a secret-secret section that only people more than 5 time zones ahead can access?

I just realized one of the best things I like about that logo. It doesn't have big bold letters saying AQUAHUNTERS.COM. It's subtle and elegant. Like it's an 'insider' thing. Like we don't have to shout it to the world, we're low key. Whatever. It's cool.

Tips for newbies learning to paddle and negotiate the waves while fishing.  Like a back to basics course that talks about launching in the surf, choosing a good spot to go out, when to go out, when not to, what to avoid, etc.  Tips for safe inshore fishing.

inshore fishing tips a must.  i myself am just a noob so i dont go too far offshore, always paddle out into the wind (so can ride it back when tired), but i would really like to learn a few more near-shore rigs... so far its just trolling the crystal minnow, with 1 roi fertilizing my fig tree.

would love to hear about targeting papio...rigs, bait(?), trolling speed, etc.

also tips on targeting the 'invasive' species, and tips on when/what species to test for ciguaterra would be nice for noobs like me. i'll catch plenty roi, have a big garden :)
