New fish finder
« on: March 28, 2013, 09:30:13 AM »
I just traded one of my old sounders from one of my boats
For a humming bird 345c portable new in the box
Complete with battery and transducer
Not sure if it was a good idea but I mounted
It on my trident 13
It has to be an improvement on the humming bird 170 I had on it
Any thoughts

Ive just got my first finder. A garmin 441s with gps. Just curious as what i can expect opelu to look like or under what settings are they easiest to see? Also is there an average or most common depth opelu run at? Also have any of u bought the g2 vision map thing for enhanced viewing? Aloha

I find the opies to be all over anywhere from 50 feet to 350 feet they show up the same as they do on any of the other units I have used
But the bottom clarity is the reason I got this unit and I have a gold card for my chart little pricy but worth it
