Canyon makes a bomber fish bag... I have a 30"x 65" and it's 3 years old now... Only had to fix one bus zipper tab...

I like to spend a bit more for the better quality...
What size kayak do you have? Just curious how you manage that bag.

I have a hobie outback. 12'

The bag sits in my rear cargo well with 20 # ice folded in thirds

When I need to bag a fish, I just unfold it and toss the fish inside. The bag stays on the cargo well just fine. I use one of the carry loops to secure bag to kayak.
Oh, God, Thy sea is so great, and my kayak is so small...

Go bananas has very well made custom fish bags for kayaks. I usaly bring two bags.
One in front hatch and one in my rod pod.

What kind of bag do you put in the rod pod?  I have the trident prowler 15 with rod pod, ihVe tried the 36" bag on the front and in the rod pod.  Have even thought about putting cooler in the rear well.

Thanks 9th, I need to refine my stowage arrangements, as it is now I don't have room in my rear hatch.

I ended up getting two 20" by 36" bags and one12" by16" bag, to replace the big bag that failed on me, They all have closed cell foam, I didn't pay a dime for shipping. I haven't field tested them yet, they look solid and the owner John muller was very good with customer service.

We ended up getting a 125 quart Aussie box, we put a small block of ice in there, it lasted about 36 hours, I was thinking of using some material such as coral or sponge rock to fill the void in the cooler, I think the ice would keep longer this way.
 Has anyone tried this?

You need to just fill that void with more ice, other objects aren't going to do much.  At $5 for a 40 lb bag from Mizuno store, you can't go wrong.  It's the air around the ice that kills it.

Go to ross and buy one cheap blanket. put it over the ice.
Aussie box it grate but the more you have to open it, the more warm air gets to the ice, the blanket will help with this.

If you don't want a blanket you can always use one of those silver windshield reflectors shades.  They work pretty good in my cheap walmart cooler.
HOW much is that to ship to Hawaii!!!???

I love my go bananas cooler bag.  It's large and heavy duty.

So I returned the cooler to  Jhara, the lid was bowed and that resulted in a lousy seal, the fish bags from canyon worked great, I kept my catch cold this time, the sixty pound ulua didn't fit in the bag though.
