« on: January 31, 2015, 10:13:29 PM »
Tyson Arakaki
Fishing from the island of Oahu
This is my 2nd Makahiki season
I paddle an Ocean Kayak Prowler15

Last season I placed 2nd in the Rec Div. This year I'm hoping to keep up with all the talent in the Pro Div.
I can't wait to see some BIG FISH come up this season......hopefully some in my lap!
 I wish everyone a safe, fun, and productive Makahiki 2015

   Shibis 15lb = 30
             14lb = 20
             12lb = 20
             12lb = 20

   4 of a kind  = 25
    day 1 total = 115

 What a day... started off bad, got worse and then just when I'm ready to throw in the towel...Boom! Action!

Nice way to debut in the pros!
A bad day fishing is still better than a good day at work.

well, tried to find BIG STUFF but had to settle for rats. So after boosting all of these fish, only two made the weight.....no bonus points today.

    mahi 11lb = 20
    otaru 11lb =20

   Day#2 total= 40
previous total= 115

                  = 155

Nice catches, I dont know if its a bad angle but the mahi looks a little small. I could totally be wrong. Can we get a video proof of the weight? Just trying to be fair for everyone. Next thing you know we going have plenty 11# fish.

I'd like to show a vid but all the fish were sold yesterday, trust me tho its just that I'm about 5 to 7ft away from the camera so the fish up front seem bigger than the ones in the back. all I can do for now is show another pic.
sorry. If the committee needs proof, I can give the names of 4 other anglers who saw my catch at the beach, 2 are current contestants in the makahiki (1 of which I'm competing against)
