Went out for the evening and some night fishing for reds. got lucky came across a bird pile in 100ft. of water on the way out and scored some fish on dead bait.

Day 20 fish are on the far left.

Nice catch bro. But yesterday's claim was pretty sketchy if you ask me. Not trying to assume anything or doubt your abilities, but 5 in the evening is a pretty late claim.

Friends of mine told me your instagram post of the big ulua was posted around 3 pm yesterday. Which means you were already fishing before the claim at 5. Im not sure if it says it in the rules, but I don't think you can claim when already on the water. I don't doubt your integrity, but the claim just seems sketchy.

Having a mean blow up catch like that within 2 hrs of daylight, on dead bait, on 100 ft of water, in a bird pile seems like the moon and stars need to align for it to happen. If it really did, congrats bro. But if it really didn't we can all be honest. I mean no sense cheat if you killing the competition anyway right?

Also, no pic of the reds. Dark happens around 8 or so. Your report comes in at 11 pm. ~2 hrs fishing for reds? Must have been biting real good for 2 hrs or less.

I don't want to seem like a a hole but just making sure we all playing fair.

the ulua on instagram is from last week. I claimed on the beach not on the water. I also have pics of the reds. I also have a partner that was with me when I launched in the evening time.

Don't mean to question integrity. Just observing patterns. Most times when you catch fish its posted the same day. Weird that only this time it was from "the other week". Just want the competition to be fair. It's too easy for people to cheat. Who knows if you had the fish already when you claimed the day. Just saying. Whatever.

Here is a pic from my phone of my fish right after I caught them with the photo info that lists the time and date of the photo taken which is after I claimed.

Not to add to the flame, but.........I don't think surf bum was doubting that you caught the fish. We all know you are a more than capable fisherman. The concern is did you claim on the water or not? I know a few people who are sketch because you changed your IG caption after you claimed. If you posted a time stamp of the 100lb ulua pic I don't think anyone would doubt you. Just my 2 cents.
