Got a new fishfinder and it helped me score tons of bait.  Lost all my marks with the old Garmin.  Paddled around 2000 feet of water for a couple hours chasing bird piles and no luck.  Hit the 40 up and only a few strikes but nothing stuck.  Felt good to get out there.  Even a pelagic free day always beats work.

Day 6 total:
1 tiny omilu: 7pts
1 tiny nabeta cnr: 7pts

old total: 145pts
new total: 159pts

Lol.  Oahu's west side has some steep ledges.  Was kinda surprised the new fish finder was scanning the bottom that deep.

Claiming Day 7 for Rob Kramer and Roman claiming day 2 today, 6/5/2016.

Day 7 for Rob and day 2 for Roman team effort.

Roman:
37.25 ono = 45pts
moano cnr = 8pts

Rob:
Five of a kind shibis 15+
30pts x 5 fish = 150pts + 30pt bonus = 180pts

Today's total for team Pelagically Insane = 45pts + 8pts + 180pts = 233pts

New team tournament total: 159pts + 233pts = 392pts

Been a short while since I picked up a shibi.  The first strikes were a double and I never tail tied the first shibi.  It gave a good thrashing as I was slipping it into the bag and went back into the ocean.  Fortunately, the second stayed on.  Action was lively yesterday.
