First fish caught on
kayak?
Paz's first was a papio, Alphadog's was a moana.
Craziest/scariest story on the water?
Close tie between
getting swept out to sea at Kaena Point or being checked out VERY closely by a
13'+ tiger shark.
Favorite Fish to catch?
Paz - likes Mahis because of their aerial display.
Alphadog - prefers onos for the blistering runs and because they throw the hook
less!
How did you get into this sport?
Both alphadog and paz had a sneaky feeling the
fishing had to be better offshore than onshore.
Favorite fishing saying?
"Tandem Kayak Fishing - Never die alone!"
What would you tell
someone who is thinking of getting into kayak fishing?
This is an extreme sport, so be careful! You only
have one life and the ocean is unforgiving so you need to always have respect for
it.
What do you want to be remembered for
in this sport?
We want to be known as well rounded fishermen that
respect the ocean.
